Poseidon's 3 Rings, introduces "The Monoblock", a massive, all-metal (pure copper, nickel plated), drop in replacement for the stock cooler. Instead of only cooling the APU, our block covers the APU, VRM, RAM, and PMIC chips, allowing for FULL system cooling, additionally, with the larger surface area, the fan becomes more efficient and lower speeds are to be expected. Our integrated heatpipe is also significantly larger than the stock pipe, meaning more heat dissipation. This increased size means our heatpipe alone is capable of 45W of heat transfer!!!
Monoblock thermal testing results are coming in!
Based on the latest fan statistics, APU heat output, and our analysis of the Steam Deck, our simulations show a significant improvement in overall temperature. Our tester's Steam Deck running God of War showed a 20°C drop in temperature during simulations. And with our custom DeckDrive backplate and 2280 mod, we believe the performance will be even better! Say goodbye to burnt fingertips and thighs.
